Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for evaluating and inspecting products or services to ensure they meet the defined quality standards and specifications. They perform various tests, inspections, and documentation tasks to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1 . Inspection and Testing
- Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on raw materials, components, or finished products to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
- Follow established quality control procedures and protocols.
2 . Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Generate inspection reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
3 . Quality Standards Compliance
- Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify and report quality issues, defects, or discrepancies to relevant teams for corrective action.
4 . Sampling and Sampling Plans
- Implement sampling plans and procedures to ensure representative samples are tested and inspected.
- Perform sampling activities according to established protocols.
5 . Calibration and Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs.
6 . Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues and deviations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
7 . Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Make recommendations for process modifications or enhancements.
8 . Training and Education
- Stay updated on industry trends, quality standards, and regulatory changes
- Train team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
9 . Supplier Quality Assessment
- Collaborate with suppliers to perform quality assessments and audits, as needed.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality and performance standards.
10 . Safety and Compliance
- Promote a safe work environment and adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in quality control or a related field.
- Knowledge of quality control techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in using quality control equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Preferred Skills
- Quality control certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).

- Statistical analysis skills (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or other industry-specific standards.
